In a small village, there lived a kind-hearted boy named Sam. He didn’t have much, but he always shared what little he had. One day, while walking home, he saw an old man sitting by the roadside, shivering in the cold. The man had no coat, and his hands trembled.
Without thinking twice, Sam took off his own jacket and wrapped it around the old man. “Here, take this. It will keep you warm,” he said with a smile. The old man’s eyes filled with tears as he thanked Sam.
A wealthy merchant passing by saw this act of kindness. Impressed, he approached Sam and said, “Your heart is richer than gold. Kindness like yours deserves to be rewarded.” The merchant took Sam to his shop and gave him a brand-new coat, along with warm food.
Sam was happy, not because he got a new coat, but because he helped someone in need. He learned that generosity always comes back in unexpected ways.
The old man, now warm and grateful, blessed Sam, saying, “May your kindness always be repaid.”
