The Wolf and The Two Cows

Two cows, Gauri and Shyama, were best friends. Every day they went together to eat grass near the forest. They always stayed side by side and never left each other alone.

One day, they saw fresh green grass inside the forest and decided to go there. While they were eating, a hungry wolf appeared. His eyes were shining, and he was ready to attack.

Gauri got scared and said, “Let’s run and hide!”
But Shyama replied, “No, if we run separately, the wolf will catch us. If we stand together, he cannot harm us. Our strength is in our unity.”

Both cows stood back-to-back with their horns facing outwards. The wolf tried many times to attack, but each time he was stopped by their sharp horns. No matter from which side he came, one cow was always ready to defend.

The wolf became tired and confused. Finally, he gave up and went away hungry. The two cows were safe because they stayed united.
