A long ago in a forest, there lived an ant and a dove together. They were best friends. The ant used to collect food for winter while the dove likes to fly here and there.
One day the ant was busy searching for some food when she slipped and fell in a stream. She was trying to swim and remain on the surface but in vain. She was about to drown when the dove saw her.
The dove plucked a leaf. She dropped the leaf in front of the ant. The ant climbed up the leaf and got to the other side of the water. The ant was very thankful to the dove for saving her life.
From that moment the ant and the dove became close friends. They started to help one another in difficult times.
One day a hunter came into the forest. He set a trap for birds. The dove did not see the trap. She ended up falling for it. She tried many times to free herself but no gain.
The ant saw that her friend was in trouble. She followed to rescue her. The ant bit the ropes of the trap and freed the dove. The dove felt happy and thanked the ant for saving her life.
