The Night in the Whispering Jungle

One dark night, four little friends — Jack the rabbit, Lily the deer, Noah the monkey, and Emily the parrot — were walking in the jungle.

The trees made strange sounds. The wind went “whooo…”. Owls hooted. Everything looked scary.
Jack whispered,
“I am scared.”

Suddenly, two glowing eyes shined in the dark! The friends held each other tightly.

Then a small firefly came. Its light showed the truth — the glowing eyes belonged to a sleepy bear. He was not dangerous at all.

With the firefly’s help, the friends found the path home. They laughed and said,
“When we are together, the dark cannot scare us.”

Moral: Friends make fear go away.
