The Dolphin and the Shark
One stormy night, a young dolphin named Arya was lost in the big, wild sea. Huge waves pushed her far away from her family.
As she swam, Arya saw a big cargo ship moving fast toward a hidden reef. On that reef, a tiger shark named Razor was stuck in an old fishing net.
Arya was scared. Sharks were dangerous. But she remembered her mother’s words:
“Being brave means helping, even when you are afraid.”
Arya swam closer and said,
“I can free you, but we must save that ship!”
Razor was shocked by her kindness. He nodded.
“I know these waters. If the ship turns now, it will escape the reef.”
Arya used her speed and jumped again and again in front of the ship, making big splashes. Razor bit the net until he was free, then slapped his tail on the surface—a warning sailors understand.
The captain noticed the strange behavior of the animals. He quickly turned the ship. It missed the reef just in time.
Tired but happy, Arya and Razor looked at each other. That night, a dolphin and a shark became friends. From then on, they worked together to protect the ocean and guide ships to safety.
Moral: Even those who seem very different can become the best friends in times of trouble.
