The Magic Notebook of Quotes
Long ago, in a quiet little town, there lived a boy named Ethan. He was kind and gentle, but he often felt weak and sad. Whenever he saw other children running fast, solving problems quickly, or shining in their studies, he thought, “Maybe I can’t do anything special.”
One afternoon, Ethan’s teacher, Mr. Carter, noticed the boy sitting alone. He walked over, sat beside him, and gave him a small, plain notebook.
“Ethan,” he said with a warm smile, “this notebook is magic. But the magic will only work if you write something good inside it every day. Fill it with words that give you courage. Whenever you feel sad, open the book, and it will help you.”
Ethan didn’t believe it at first. “How can simple words change anything?” he thought. But he didn’t want to upset his teacher, so that night he wrote his first line:
- “You are braver than you believe.”
The next day, when he felt scared to answer a question in class, he quickly looked at the notebook. Reading the words made his heart beat stronger. He raised his hand and answered with courage.
Day by day, Ethan filled the notebook with more quotes:
- “Keep going, you are doing great.”
- “Difficult times don’t last forever.”
- “Every day is a new chance to try again.”
Something magical happened. Slowly, Ethan started to believe in himself. He tried harder in school, played with friends with more confidence, and smiled more often.
Years passed. Ethan grew up to be a wise and kind teacher. One day, he saw a young student named Lucas sitting sadly in a corner. Lucas whispered, “Sir, I am not good at anything. I can never do well.”
Mr. Ethan smiled gently. He took out his old, worn notebook, the same one given to him years ago, and handed it to Lucas.
“This notebook has magic inside,” he said. “Whenever you feel sad, open it. These words will make your heart strong, just like they made mine.”
Lucas’s eyes lit up with hope as he opened the notebook and read the first line:
“Believe in yourself, because you are stronger than you think.”
✨ Moral of the Story: Positive and kind words are like seeds. When we read them, believe in them, and keep them in our hearts, they grow into courage, hope, and happiness.
