Once upon a time, high up in the night sky, lived a tiny star. He loved to shine bright and make children smile when they looked up.
One night, the little star noticed his twinkle was fading. “Oh no,” he whispered. “Without my sparkle, I cannot guide the dreamers.”
He felt sad and hid behind a cloud. Then, a kind moonbeam saw him.
“Don’t be afraid,” said the moonbeam gently. “Your twinkle comes from happiness. Share kindness, and it will return.”
The star smiled at the fireflies below, who were trying to glow. He sent them soft light to help. Suddenly, his own sparkle grew brighter than ever.
That night, the little star learned a secret: when you share light with others, your own shine never fades.
