The Cracked Pot — Moral Story in English

Once upon a time, there was an old woman who carried two pots every day. She tied them to a wooden stick and placed it on her shoulders to bring water from the river.

One pot was perfect. It always carried a full amount of water.
The other pot had a small crack. Because of this crack, half of the water leaked out on the way back home.

This went on for two years. The perfect pot was proud, but the cracked pot felt sad and ashamed.

One day, the cracked pot said to the old woman,
“I am sorry. Because of my crack, you don’t get full water. I am a failure.”

The woman smiled kindly and replied,
“Look carefully at the path. Do you see the beautiful flowers on your side? There are no flowers on the other side. That’s because I knew about your crack, so I planted flower seeds along your path. Every day, you watered them without even knowing. For two years, I have decorated my home with these lovely flowers. Without you, this beauty would not exist.”

The cracked pot finally understood that its weakness had created something beautiful.

🌟 Moral of the Story:
