It was a dark and stormy night. Heavy clouds covered the sky, rain was pouring down, and the ocean waves crashed wildly against each other. The sea roared like a giant, angry beast.
In the middle of the ocean, a large ship called Ocean Star was caught in the storm. Onboard were two children — Rayan and Mina — travelling with their parents. But the storm was so strong, it shook the ship, and in the chaos, the children were separated from their parents.
Rayan and Mina huddled together in a corner, scared and soaked. Lightning flashed, thunder boomed, and suddenly — the ship’s lights went out. Everything turned pitch black.
Then, in the distance, a faint sound echoed through the rain. Not a human voice… it was the high-pitched call of a dolphin!
But this wasn’t just any dolphin — her name was Nora, the smartest and bravest dolphin in the sea. Nora loved humans, especially children.
When she saw the ship struggling, she rushed toward it. She circled the ship quickly, searching… until she spotted Rayan and Mina. She swam closer, her eyes full of kindness.
Rayan whispered, “I think she wants to help us.”
Mina said, “Let’s trust her!”
The two children bravely jumped into the water. Nora rose up and let them climb onto her smooth back. The storm was still raging, waves crashing all around, but Nora was fast and fearless. She swam through the storm, carrying the children toward a small island she knew nearby.
After a long, difficult swim, Nora reached the island’s shore. Just then, the sky began to lighten — it was almost morning. Rayan and Mina were safe, and soon, their parents arrived too on a rescue boat.
Everyone was overjoyed and hugged each other tightly. They turned to thank Nora, but she had already leaped into the waves, spinning happily in the air — as if saying, “It was my duty!”
Moral of the Story:
Sometimes, help comes from the most unexpected places. With courage and kindness, even the darkest night can lead to a bright morning.
